WHO’S WHO?

Rev Rich Boothroyd, Priest-in-charge.

I’ve been Priest-in-charge at St John’s since September 2024, although I have been living in the area for many years.

At heart I’m a Yorkshire boy. So I’m friendly, keen on Toad in the Hole & love cricket. I’m married to Rozi, have three girls, and I enjoy running, cooking, and watching most sport on TV.

Rev Jonny Fitter, Pioneer Curate.

I am a curate who helps to serve the church at St John’s in a variety of ways. I am passionate about reaching out into the wider community with the love of Jesus. Along with my wife, Ally and energetic son, Judah, I live up the road from the church in Earlsfield.

In terms of hobbies, I am a keen footballer, Leeds United fan, NFL enthusiast, music lover and food eater!

Mel Mazibuko, Community and Family Worker

I am the Community and Family Worker at St John’s, running various groups and activities for kids, families and local people in Earlsfield. I love finding new ways to engage with and serve the community, and particularly enjoy hearing people’s stories over a tea/coffee!

My husband, Sifiso and I enjoy visiting parks and playgrounds with our four lively children, all of whom were born down the road at St George’s.
